Our client, global beauty leader, is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to join their team. This is a full-time, 5 days per week role supporting their operations at their Edison warehouse.
Job Duties Include:
- Manage warehouse inventory and stock records
- Reconcile stock levels using relevant systems
- Act as point of contact for shipment-related information
- Maintain and negotiate contracts with freight forwarders and transport partners
- Stay informed on shipping routes, rates, and best practices
- Monitor and prepare annual budgets
- Review, approve, and track all shipping invoices
- Supervise warehouse receiving, distribution, and space utilization
- Ensure compliance with warehousing, shipping, and handling policies and regulations
- Create weekly inbound freight reports
- Report on FSC rates and other operational KPIs
- Reconcile monthly freight forwarder and carrier statements
Job Qualifications Include:
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse logistics and freight coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience with high-volume small parcel carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL).
- Familiarity with FTL/LTL freight, domestic freight regulations, and working with dispatch and accessorial charges.
- Experience with international ocean and air freight, and relationships with major freight forwarders.
- Understanding of routing guides and chargebacks from major retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, CVS).
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Salary: $75k - $80k annually
