Our client, a contemporary fashion brand, is looking to hire a Temporary Benefits Specialist to join their team onsite in NYC. This is a 3-month temp role that will be covering a leave of absence.
Job Qualifications Include:
- Manage benefit inquiries from employees on benefits enrollments, life events, etc.
- Resolve administrative problems as they arise with the insurance carriers
- Administer employees' benefits, wellness programs, disability programs, etc.
- Monitor government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends
- Manage workers' compensation claims
- Maintain benefits filing systems and ensure changes are properly registered
- Process leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork
- Assist with new-hire benefits orientation and all annual enrollment processes
- Run requested reports
- Coordinate activities for the team
- Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of multi-state leave of absence administration
- 5+ years of workers’ compensation claims reporting experience
- Proven ability to support teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Retail experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel)
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience using various vendor platforms
- Experience with ADP systems a plus
Salary: $35-40/hour
