Temp to Perm Senior Process and Project Manager

Our client, global beauty leader, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for an immediate temp-to-perm opportunity in New York City on a hybrid schedule. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance and the needs of the business.

 

This role is pivotal in supporting the onboarding of a major U.S. retailer, Walmart, and building the operational infrastructure to ensure flawless execution across teams. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role at a company with a major growth trajectory. You’ll be instrumental in setting up infrastructure for one of the world’s largest retailers and positioned for long-term growth within a globally recognized brand. You’ll serve as the strategic right hand to the company leadership and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders locally and internationally to support the success of this high-impact retail launch.

 

Job Duties Include:

  • Lead cross-functional project initiatives to support Walmart onboarding
  • Build operational processes from the ground up to support large-scale U.S. retail distribution
  • Navigate SAP system upgrades or implementations
  • Collaborate closely with logistics and warehouse partners to ensure readiness and on-time fulfillment
  • Manage third-party vendors during planning, development, execution, and post-launch support
  • Track deliverables, define project scope, milestones, and risks using project management software
  • Map new processes and implement internal structures that align with evolving retail requirements
  • Provide strategic updates and reporting directly to the CFO
  • Additional duties as needed and assigned

 

Job Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of project and process management experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced in CPG or beauty industries, with a history of supporting retail launches (Walmart or Target preferred)
  • Proficient in SAP and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities

 

Salary: $100k - $130k annually
