Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is hiring a Temp Accounting Manager to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office). This role will be starting on Monday, July 7th and will be an ongoing temporary assignment with potential to convert to permanent.
Job Duties Include:
- Oversee revenue reconciliation processes across POS, ERP, and banking systems, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of variances.
- Manage and support a team handling journal entries, GL reconciliations, and month-end close for revenue, gift cards, and loyalty programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, IT, and Operations to maintain data integrity, resolve deposit issues, and optimize system integration.
- Lead audits and drive continuous improvement through automation and enhanced internal controls.
- Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred, with 7+ years of experience including retail or multi-location environments.
- Proven leadership with 2+ years managing accounting teams and overseeing reconciliation and internal controls.
- Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite), POS/payment platforms (Square, Clover, Worldpay), and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a solid understanding of GAAP.
Salary: $50-$60 per hour
