Our client, global luxury fashion brand, is looking to hire Temp Retail Operations Assistant to join the team at corporate location in New York City on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). This is a full-time temporary position starting in August for a 2-3 month assignment. Candidates must be able to work full-time 40 hours per week.
Job Duties Include:
- Coordinate all aspects of global store furniture logistics, including purchasing, shipping, invoicing, and inventory tracking, ensuring alignment with brand standards and timely execution
- Support retail operations by managing store maintenance reports, replenishing supplies, and fulfilling packaging and visual merchandising requests across global locations
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales performance reports, including category-specific updates such as Eyewear and Fragrance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operational processes
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Job Qualifications Include:
- 2+ years of experience in retail operations or a related function; BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks independently
- Excellent communication skills; collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn within a high-performing team
Salary: $24 per hour
