Our client, a leader in artisan-crafted footwear, is hiring a strategic and experienced Director of Retail to lead and drive performance across their luxury shoe brand in NYC on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). This role will oversee retail operations, client development, and sales strategies for locations spanning both the East and West Coast markets (travel required).
Job Duties Include:
- Develop and implement business strategies to grow revenue, elevate client experience, and strengthen brand positioning in the luxury footwear sector
- Partner with Executive leadership to drive sales performance, operational excellence, and consistent service standards across all locations
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform merchandising, assortment, and client engagement strategies
- Coach and mentor teams to achieve ambitious targets and deliver an exceptional luxury retail experience
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and executive leadership to align regional initiatives with global objectives
Job Qualifications Include:
- 7+ years of premium or luxury leadership experience, with 3+ years in a multi unit capacity
- Strong background in luxury shoes required.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and executing strategic business plans.
- Experience supporting both East and West Coast retail markets
- Ability to travel regularly across regions as needed.
- Excellent presentation, leadership, and communication skills.
