Our client, a global luxury brand, is hiring a Senior Buyer to join their corporate team in New York City on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office). This person will manage the US buy for leather goods for 80 doors.
Job Duties Include:
- Drive leather goods category growth by analyzing sales, optimizing stock, managing core replenishment, and implementing store-level initiatives
- Lead seasonal merchandising strategies including buying, presenting to leadership, and aligning with global teams on pricing, product feedback, and market needs
- Liaise between regional teams and global partners to ensure alignment on business goals and product strategies
- Champion product knowledge and brand passion through in-store trainings, business recaps, and strong cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and store leaders
Job Qualifications Include:
- 8+ years of buying experience preferably supporting global luxury brands
- Strong business acumen with excellent retail math and Excel skills
- Ability to work in fast paced dynamic environment.
Salary: $130k - $150K annually + Bonus
