Our client, a growing online specialty retailer, is looking for a Merchandising Operations Analyst to join their fully remote team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into the eCommerce space and build a strong foundation in merchandising operations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. If you're highly organized, curious, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you! This is a temporary position that is set to last 3 - 6 months.
Job Duties Include:
- Assist with streamlining the product onboarding process by managing vendor and SKU setup across various categories
- Dive into item-level data to ensure accuracy and completeness across the catalog
- Analyze large data sets to uncover trends and surface actionable insights
- Assist with process improvements and contribute to cross-functional merchandising and assortment projects
- Work closely with internal teams across merchandising, operations, and systems
- Additional duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in a data-driven or fast-paced corporate environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
- A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for organization and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn and contribute
- Ability to stay flexible and thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
- Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, or other project management tools a plus
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Exposure to or interest in eCommerce, merchandising, or digital retail is a plus
Salary: $20 - $23/hr depending on experience
