National Sales Account Manager

Our client, global beauty leader, is seeking a National Sales Account Manager to join their team in New York City on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). This position will be accountable for all aspects of the assigned retailer business to meet strategic initiatives. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to customer events as needed.

 

Job Duties Include:

  • Drive productivity to be the market leader in units and exceed retailer sales
  • Develop and maintain relationships retailers including becoming acquainted with the supply, marketing, PR, and digital teams
  • Travel to assist with customer events including developing and managing events
  • Monitor, analyze, and report customer gross and retail sales data with a focus on actionable reports
  • Manage potential deletions to minimize inventory liabilities and drive root cause problem solving
  • Partner with relevant Managers to operationalize strategies by customer
  • Assist with assortment planning to meet financial and environmental objectives
  • Assist in preparation for monthly inventory meetings and S&OP meetings
  • Work with cross functional teams on ideation and execution of promotional activity
  • Own forecasts for promotional activity and communicate to organization via established processes
  • Evaluate promotional activity to inform future activities
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as needed and assigned

 

Job Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or related job experience
  • 5+  years of account management experience
  • Experience working with Target, Ulta, Amazon, Walmart, and/or Shoppers Drug Mart is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills associated with large volumes of data, data management, and reporting
  • Competent user of computerized IT systems (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and others associated scheduling, forecasting software packages)
  • Strong data management and analytic skills
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Positive attitudes of commitment to job/projects.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills and proven record of cross-functional partnerships

Salary: $100k annually
