Our client, an online specialty retailer, is hiring a Merchandising Operations Analyst to join their team in a remote capacity. This is a temporary position that is slated for 3 months. The ideal person for this role is detail-oriented, proactive, and takes ownership of their work, consistently striving to improve processes and outcomes. This role focuses on managing and optimizing item-level data to ensure accuracy and completeness, directly impacting the overall customer experience.
Job Duties Include:
- Strong blend of merchandising operations expertise and information systems knowledge, with the ability to analyze complex data and understand both the functional and technical aspects of system processes.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors and SKUs across multiple product categories
- Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets to extract actionable insights
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives related to Assortment Operations
Job Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in a data-driven, corporate environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with software quality processes and tools like Confluence and JIRA
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Background in e-commerce or online retail
Salary: $20/hr
