Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is hiring a Merchandise Allocator to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).
Job Duties Include:
- Assist the merchandising team with buy sheets, administrative files, and check & balance with all files relating to merchandising
- Propose and implement inter store transfers and movement of stock to achieve optimal stock balances
- Run weekly sales reports
- Partner with the Senior Buyer to report stock-related risks & opportunities
- Work closely with Logistics & local warehouse to ensure that timely replenishment & initial allocations are possible
- Work closely with Global Supply Chain Team on continuative styles and input into matrix
- Participate in meetings where Merchandising needs to be involved
- Identify and seek new ideas to simplify/improve the as-is store operation related to stock
Job Qualifications Include:
- 2+ years of allocation experience and stock management, preferably with luxury goods or related field.
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Self-starter who is motivated to meet critical deadlines and has a disciplined approach to problem solving.
- Strong knowledge of luxury market and fashion trends.
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Ability to analyze sales, provide appropriate recommendations and apply learnings.
- Detail oriented and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with PowerBi a plus.
Salary: $70k - $75k annually
